Nabunyag sa pagdinig House committee on Dangerous Drugs na may mga impormante o tipster na ang gustong maging “reward” sa kanila ay 30 percent ng nakumpiskang iligal na droga mula sa anti-illegal drug operation.
Ito ang isiniwalat ni Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director General Moro Virgilio Lazo nang dumalo ito sa nasabing pagdinig.
Dahil dito hiniling ni Surigao del Norte Rep. Robert Ace Barbers na iimbentaryo ang mga drogang nasabat o nasa kustodiya ng lahat ng law enforcement agencies kabilang ang Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Philippine National Police (PNP) at National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
Layunin nito na maiwasan ang pagre-recycle ng droga at maibalik sa kalsada upang maibenta na naman.
“I think that’s a revealing statement….that’s a very serious drug problem,” ayon kay Barbers.
