Inaabangan ngayon ng Los Angeles Clippers ang magiging bago nilang kasama sa koponan na si Russell Westbrook matapos ang contract buyout sa Utah Jazz.
Si Westbrook ay dating myembro ng LA Lakers na 9-time NBA-All Star.
Matatandaan na bahagi ng big three ng Los Angeles Lakers si Westbrook kung saan nakasama niya sina Lebron James at Anthony Davis.
Pero dahil sa masamang kartada ng Lakers ngayong season, kabilang si Westbrook sa mga na-move sa trade deadline noong February 7.
Sinabi ni Jazz CEO Danny Ainge, na wala silang garantiya na mabibigyan ng playing time si Westbrook dahil nakatuon sila sa player development ng mga batang players.
Sakaling pumirma si Westbrook sa Clippes, siya ang bubuo ng panibagong big three sa team kasama sina Kawhi Leonard at Paul George.
Ayon sa Star Player ng Clippers na si Paul George “I just think we in particular got enough shooting to surround Russ where Russ can be Russ. And I think the floor will be open for him, spacing will be there for him. I’m a big believer in and a fan of what Russ’s work is, having one of my best seasons in my career alongside of him. I’ve seen what he can do, night in, night out, and I think he’s still got a lot of game there.”
“I’m biased when it comes to Russ, and I really think he can improve the team. He’s such a big talent. He rebounds, he finds guys, he makes the game easy for everyone, and I think he’ll come and he’ll mesh. He’ll figure out how we play and he’ll adjust to it,” dagdag pa ng star player.
