Bilang bahagi ng Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) project ng Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), mahigit isang libong magsasaka ang nabigyan ng mga lupang sakahan sa Bohol, Cebu at Negros Occidental.
Sa datos ng DAR, 1,321 mga magsasakang agrarian reform beneficiaries ang napagkalooban ng mga sakahan na may kabuuang bilang na 1,171.34 ektaryang agricultural land.
Paliwanag ni DAR Secretary Conrado Estrella III, magbibigay din ng iba pang tulong ang ahensya sa mga magsasaka alinsunod sa kautusan ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. bilang bahagi ng food security agenda ng pamahalaan.
