Wala nang kawala ang apat na most wanted person (MWP) matapos makorner ng mga operatiba ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).
Nasakote ang mga suspek sa isinagawang serye ng operasyon ng CIDG-Calabarzon kasama ang iba pang mga alagad ng batas noong Pebrero 21.
Positibong kinilala ang mga nahuling suspek na sina Jeyboy Basilio, Ariel Suico, Al Francis Bogtong, at Bryan Vergara.
Sina Basilio, Suico, at Bogtong ay nasa wanted list ng rehiyon, habang nasa wanted list naman ng probinsya si Vergara.
Sa rekord ng CIDG-Calabarzon, si Basilio ay nahaharap sa apat na kaso ng rape, si Suico ay may kasalukuyang warrant of arrest dahil sa illegal recruitment, si Bogtong ay may dalawang kaso ng lascivious conduct at rape by sexual assault habang kasong carjacking naman kay Vergara.
“The arrest of these wanted individuals is also a victory for our community. Patuloy tayong magka-isa sa pagsugpo sa mga kriminal na nagpipilit na magtago sa batas para sa pagpapanatili ng ating komunidad na ligtas at payapa,” saad ni Brigadier General Romeo Caramat Jr.
