Good news para sa mga business owner!
Pinalawig pa ng Department of Tourism (DOT) ang libreng accreditation sa mga tourism establishment sa buong bansa.
Sa inilabas na Memorandum Circular (MC) 2022-001 ng DOT o ang Revised Interim Guidelines Governing Applications for Accreditation During the State of Calamity Due to COVID-19, nakasaad na libre at walang babayaran ang mga business owner sa kanilang accreditation.
“While the proclamation on the period of state calamity in the country has ended, we at the DOT discern the need to continue, for as long as essential, measures that will support our stakeholders in their process of recouping the devastating losses incurred in the almost three years that the tourism industry was brought to a standstill due to the pandemic,” ayon kay Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco.
Umaasa naman ang ahensya na sa susunod na buwan ay sisimulan na muli nila ang pagtanggap ng mga aktuwal na dokumento sa aplikasyon ng Star Rating and Premium Accreditation na natigil dahil sa pandemya.
Pinayuhan din ng kalihim ng ahensya ang mga negosyo na mag-apply na agad ng regular accreditation kung malapit nang mag-expire ang kanilang kasalukuyang accreditation permit.
