Kinondena ng Pilipinas ang panibagong pagpapakawala ng North Korea (NoKor) ng missile na bumagsak sa bansang Japan.
Sa inilabas na pahayag ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), ang naturang testing ng mga missile ay isang provocation sa iba pang mga kalapit na bansa tulad ng Japan. Nakakasira daw sa usaping pangkapayapaan at stability sa rehiyon ang ginawang aksyon na ito ng North Korea.
Kasabay nito hinirit ng Pilipinas sa mga concerned party na pairalin ang utmost restraint sa NoKor.
Nanawagan din ang DFA sa gobyerno ng North Korea na itigil na ang naturang missile test at daanin sa mapayapang paraan ang pakikipag-dayalogo sa South Korea (SoKor).
