Nagawa nila ito na wala ang kanilang main scorer na sina Alyssa Valdez at Jema Galanza dahil sa kanilang injury. Dahil sa pagkapanalo nila, umangat ang kanilang standing 5-1 upang makalapit sa semi-finals.
Nanguna para sa Cool Smashers si Tots Carlos na nakapag-bigay ng 17 points habang nakapag ambag naman si Michele Gumabao ng 11 points.
“This game is our preparation, it’s for everyone. In the next games, the matches will just keep on leveling up heading into the semifinals so we’ll really work hard after this huge confidence booster,” saad ni Tots Carlos.
“I feel good because of course, we wanted to win today and for our other teammates to play so I really gave my best.” Dagdag pa niya.
Nakapag-ambag naman para sa Army Black Mamba si Honey Royse Tubino na naka score ng 12 points.
Dahil sa pagkatalo ng Army, ito na ang kanilang pang-limang talo sa torneyo na ito.
