Apat na miyembro ng Tau Gamma Phi fraternity ang sumuko sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) noong lunes kaugnay sa pagkamatay ng Adamson University student na si John Matthew Salilig dahil sa hazing.
Ayon kay Cavite police director Col. Christopher Olazo, pansamantalang nasa kustodiya ng NBI head office sa Manila ang apat na fratmen para sa tamang disposisyon bago sila i-turn over sa pulisya.
Isa sa mga sumuko ay ang neophyte na itinago sa pangalang ‘snoop’ na nagsumite ng kanyang salaysay ukol sa pagsaksi nito sa isinagawang initiation kay Salilig gayundin sa mga sumunod pang mga pangyayari.
Sumuko rin sa mga awtoridad ang isang opisyal ng San Pedro Laguna chapter na si alyas “Biggie” subalit aniya, inimbitahan lamang siya at walang naging parte sa nangyaring initiation.
Samantala, hindi pa nagbibigay ng komento sa ngayon ang neophyte at ikatlong miyembro na sumuko na si alyas “Void”.
Nakipaugnayan naman sa NBI ang ikaapat at hindi pa pinapangalanang person of interest na nasaksihan ang nangyari initiation subalit aniya, nandoon lamang siya dahil umano sa ‘disciplinary reason’.
Ayon sa NBI, mananatili sa kanilang kustodiya ang apat na persons of interest hanggat hindi pa natatapos ang pagsisiyasat sa kanila.
Matatandaang anim na miyembro ng Tau Gamma Phi ang nauna nang inaresto ng mga awtoridad dahil sa pagkamatay ni Salilig.
