Isang magsasaka ang nag-viral sa social media matapos itong umani ng kilo-kilong sibuyas sa kabila ng ‘nakakaiyak’ na shortage umano nito sa bansa.
Sa mga larawang ipinost ni Oma Miagao Fit sa kanyang Facebook account kahapon, ngiting tagumpay ang 63-anyos na si Jonathan Zaldivar ng Brgy.
Igtuba, Miagao, Iloilo kasama ang kanyang mga ani. “Naka-harvest ako ng nasa 360 kilos. Sa susunod na Lunes may iha-harvest pa uli ako nasa 300 to 400 kilos,” wika ni Mang Jonathan sa isang panayam ng Bitag Media Digital (BMD).
Ayon kay Mang Jonathan, ibinebenta niya ang kanyang mga sibuyas sa halagang P150 kada kilo.
“Dito sa gilid ng kalsada kung saan ako nagbebenta maraming bumibili na mga nakasasakyan,” ani Mang Jonathan. “Kaninang umaga sa loob ng tatlong oras 50kg na agad ang naibenta ko.”
“Nagpapasalamat ako sa kanila. Happy ako,” dagdag nito. Sa kasalukuyan, nakakalap ng 2.9k likes, 250 comments, at 3.8k shares sa Facebook ang nasabing viral post.
