Nasabat ng mga operatiba ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PDEA-BARMM) ang nasa (5) limang kilong hinihinalang shabu sa Barangay Pang, Kalinggalan Caluang, Sulu noong Martes, March 7, 2023.
Sa ikinasang buy-bust operation, nakipag transaksyon ang mga PDEA operatives sa kanilang subject na sina Nasang Jaiyari Murosad, 60 taong gulang at Mujalli Sajaran Jaddin aka Albasir/Al Bashir.
Subalit nang matunugan ng mga suspek, agad na tumakbo si Jaddin. Nakipagpalitan din ito ng putok sa mga awtoridad at tuluyang nakatakas.
Samantala hindi na nagawang makatakbo si Murosad at agad nahuli ng mga operatiba.
Dinala si Murosad sa Indanan Municipal Police Station Custodial Facility at inihahanda ang kasong Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 laban sa kanya.
Nakuha sa suspek ang pitong heat-sealed transparent plastic bag at walong pirasong transparent plastic sachet ng hinihinalang shabu na may street value na na ₱34,000,000.00; isang (1) unit analog ng cellphone; at isang (1) piraso ng sling bag.
