Nahagip ng tren ng PNR ang isang PWD na Jeepney barker matapos pumilit na tumawid kahit na may paparating na tren sa kanto ng Arnaiz Street at Osmeña Highway sa Makati nitong Lunes.
Kaagad na binigyan ng first aid ang biktima matapos magtamo ng sugat sa kanang noo na sing-haba ng isang dangkal at napag alaman ding may fracture ito sa kaliwang siko. Kalaunan ay dinala na ito sa ospital ng Makati upang maipagamot.
“habang paparating na yung tren, nakababa na daw po kasi yung pinaka-boom sa train station pero tumuloy tuloy parin daw pong tumawid. Fractured na po yung kaliwang braso niya tapos po nung binibigyan na po namin siya ng first aid, conscious naman yung pasyente, nakakausap naman namin siya.” Saad ng barangay rescuer.
Ayon sa PNR, kasalukuyang iniimbestigahan ang pangyayari. Nagpaalala din ang PNR sa publiko na wag nang pumilit tumawid pag naka baba na ang harang o yung boom.
