“With only a few weeks left before the April 26 deadline, we urge citizens with unregistered SIMs to take the necessary steps to comply and to avoid any inconvenience. We assure you that your safety and security are our top priorities,” wika ni DICT Undersecretary Anna Mae Lamentillo.
“The Department has been actively working with the PTEs to ensure that all SIMs are registered and verified. This initiative is in line with the government’s efforts to improve national security and curb the rising incidents of fraudulent activities, including scams and identity theft,” wika ni DICT Secretary Ivan John Uy.
