Ayon sa pamilya ng mga bata, nang makarinig sila ng putok ng baril sa kwarto ay kaagad nilang pinuntahan ito at nakita ang kanilang anak na 4 years old na nakahiga sa sahig na wala nang malay.

“It just seems like another tragic story of a child gaining access to a firearm and hurting someone else,” dagdag pa nito.

“You’ve got to be sure you’re being a responsible gun owner, securing your weapons in a safe place. It’s got to be more than just telling young kids not to touch the weapons,” dagdag pang sinabi ni Gonzalez.
