Sa liham na ipinadala ng mambabatas kay House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, nangako ito na babalik sya sa Kongreso pagkatapos maaksyunan ang mga banta sa kanila. Inihain ng kaniyang legal counsel na si Atty. Ferdinand Topacio ang request ng mambabatas.
Nauna nang sinabi ni Romualdez na nakausap niya sa telepono ang kongresista at inamin nito na natatakot siya sa kaniyang kaligtasan.
