Ayon sa warrant of arrest na inilabas ng Regional Trial Court ng Zamboanga City, nahaharap sa tatlong count ng rape si Arap.
Si Arap ay inaresto ng mga tauhan ng Zamboanga City Police Station 11, Regional Intelligence Unit-9, Zamboanga City Mobile Force Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion-0 at Coast Guard District Western Mindanao sa isinagawang law enforcement operation sa Barangay Talisayan.
