Idinadaing ngayon ng mga residente at mga negosyante ng Davao del Norte ang sinsabing palpak na serbisyo na natatanggap nila sa Northern Davao Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Nordeco).
Sa isinagawang protesta ng mga business groups sa Davao del Norte, labis na daw nakaka-apekto sa kanilang kabuhayan ang maya’t maya at araw-araw na power interruption.
Mula pa 2016 pa aniya sila nagtitiis sa substandard na serbisyo ng kuryente mula sa Nordeco.
Maging si Davao del Norte Governor Edwin Jubahib aminado sa problema sa supply ng kuryente.
Pinepetisyon na din nila sa Kamara na tanggalin na ang Nordeco bilang service provider ng lalawigan. Samantala, nag-viral ang Facebook post ng isang residente matapos mamatay ang lahat ng kanyang alagang koi fish. Isinisi nito ang Nordeco dahil sa walang abisong brownout na tumagal ng mahigit 24 oras noong March 14.
