Muli na naman dinagsa ng mga Shopee Rider Xpress ang BITAG Action Center, upang ireklamo ang kanilang agency dahil sa hindi umano pagbibigay ng 13th month pay at mga incentives.
Dalawampu’t limang mga riders mula Dagupan at Bayambang Pangasinan ang bumiyahe upang idulog ang kanilang hinaing sa agency na Placer 8 Logistics Express Incorporated.
Matatandaan na ito din ang agency na kinalampag ng BITAG noong nakaraang Enero matapos silang ireklamo ng mga riders mula Taguig City. Nakipagtulungan at binayaran naman ng nasabing ahensya ang mga riders.
Pero sa pagdagasa muli ng mga panibagong grupo mula Pangasinan, nalagay na naman ang Placer 8 sa alanganin.
Ayon sa mga riders, pinapa-asa lang umano sila ng nasabing agency, kaya humingi na sila ng tulong sa BITAG.
Agad na tinawagan ni Mr. Ben Tulfo ang Placer 8 at nakausap ang kanilang Workers Management Analyst na si Jaffy Luison.
Sinabi ni Luison na pinoproseso na nila pagbabayad sa kanilang mga naging riders.
Pansamantala munang panghahawakan ng BITAG ang pangako at magiging aksyon ng Placer 8.
Makipag-ugnayan din ang BITAG sa Department of Labor and Employment sa Region 1 para sa kasong ito.
