Ipagpapaliban muna ang inaabangan laban nina Naoya Inoue at Stephen Fulton dahil sa natamong injury ng Japanese superstar.
Ayon sa inanunsyo ng kanyang trainer noong Wednesday, postponed muna ang laban ng dalawa dahil sa natamong hand injury ni Inoue habang ito’y nagte-training.
Agad na humingi ng paumanhin si Inoue sa team ni Fulton dahil sa injury na natamo nito.
“We have concluded that it would be extremely difficult for me to get into shape to enter the ring the way things are,” saad ni Inoue.
“It pains me to say it but this is the conclusion we have come to.” Dagdag pa nito.
Ayon kay Mike Coppinger ng ESPN, irereschedule ang laban pagdating ng summer sa Japan.
Parehong unbeaten sina Fulton at Inoue.
Ang Japanese boxing icon ay kasalukuyang may 24-0 record, 21 natapos via knockout. Si Fulton naman, 21-0, walo via stoppage.
