Ayon kay Kathryn E. Vinson, isang American Clinical Practice Management expert, maituturing na madalas ang sakit na colon cancer sa mga matatanda.
“If found early, survival rates are as high as 90%; however, with regional and distant spread (Stages 3 and 4), rates drop to 71% and 14%,” ani Vinzon na nagtapos ng Master of Science sa Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
Sa social media post ni well-known sports analyst at columnist Quinito Henson, ipinakita nito si Tenorio na bumisita sa practice ng Ginebra noong Huwebes (March 24).
“LA is now cancer-free but will undergo chemotherapy beginning next month to make sure he remains in the clear over the long run on doctor’s advice! He’ll be back playing next season!,” ani Henson sa kaniyang Facebook post.
ibinunyag ng 38-anyos na si Tenorio na nagkaroon ito ng stage 3 Colon Cancer, dahilan para maputol ang kaniyang paglalaro sa PBA.
“I was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. The initial testing three weeks ago led me to instantly miss practices and games,” pagbubunyag ni Tenorio.Nasa semifinals ngayon ang Ginebra at makakalaban ang San Miguel Beermen sa isang best-of-five series.
