Isang resolusyon ang inihain ni Senator Raffy Tulfo ngayong Biyernes (Marso 24) upang isagawa ang isang imbestigasyon kaugnay sa umano’y maling pamamahala ng pondo ng state-run People’s Television Network (PTV-4).
Kabilang sa mga anomalyang sisiyasatin ng Senado ang hindi umano pagtaas ng sweldo ng mga empleyado sa nakaraang 15 taon, iregular na komposisyon ng board of directors at maling paggamit ng pondo.
Matatandaang ibunyag ni dating Press Secretary Trixie Angeles-Cruz sa isang pagdinig sa Kongreso noong Setyembre 2022 na hindi pasok sa pamantayan ng industriya ang sahod na natatanggap ng mga empleyado ng PTV4.
Pebrero taong kasalukuyan naman nang lumapit din sa Bitag ang ilang mga empleyado ng PTV-4 ukol sa kani-kanilang mga reklamo laban sa state-run broadcasting network.
