Nag-aalok ng P1.2 milyon na pabuya ang Philippine National Police (PNP), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) at Bulacan government sa makakapagbigay ng impormasyon sa mga suspek na nakapatay sa Chief of Police ng San Miguel, Bulacan.
Napatay nitong Sabado, March 25 sa isang operasyon si PltCol. Marlon Serna, hepe ng San Miguel Police Station.
Sa inisyal na imbestigasyon, nakatanggap ng ulat ang San Miguel Police tungkol sa umano’y nakawan sa Brgy. San Juan, San Miguel, Bulacan.
Agad na tumungo sa pinangyarihan ang si Serna at kanyang mga tauhan upang i-verify at magsagawa ng follow up investigation at hot pursuit sa mga suspek.
Pagdating sa isang madilim na bahagi ng Brgy. Buhol na Mangga, dalawang hindi pa nakikilalang suspek na sakay ng isang Mio motorcycle ang nagpaputok ng baril sa mga pulis. Tinamaan si Serna sa kanyang ulo.
Agad isinugod sa Emmanuel Hospital si Serna ngunit binawian siya ng buhay habang ginagamot.
Samantala, inilabas ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group ang artist sketch ng isa sa mga suspek.
Base sa deskripsyon ng may-ari ng hinoldap na sari-sari store, may sugat sa ulo ang suspek matapos umano niya itong mataga.
Nangako Bulacan Police na titingnan nila ang lahat ng anggulo para sa ikalulutas ng kaso.
