Iwasan na ipahayag sa social media ang inyong bawat kilos o galaw, ito ay paalala ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sa mga nagbabalak mag bakasyon ngayong Semana Santa.
Pinaalalahanan ni PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo ang publiko na maging maingat sa paggamit ng social media lalo na sa pagbibigay ng mga impormasyon tulad ng pagpo-post ng boarding pass at ATM upang hindi mabiktima ng mga kawatan.
“Hindi lang nasa kalsada ang mga kriminal, pati sa cyberspace,” wika ni Fajardo sa isang panayam sa Teleradyo.
“Lock your doors and windows if you’re going out during Holy Week. Do not post your itinerary and the time you’re leaving. May mga cybercriminals na nakabantay…para na rin nating sinabi na walang tao sa bahay natin” dagdag pa nito.
Hinikayat naman ni Fajardo ang mga bakasyunista na byumahe nang mas maaga upang hindi maabala sa dami ng taong dadagsa sa mga pampublikong terminal ngayong Holy Week.
“Mag iingat po tayo palagi at hangga’t maaari wag na po tayo magdala ng mga mahahalagang kagamitan at malaking halaga ng pera,” ani Fajardo.
Kasalukuyang nasa heightened alert ang PNP kung saan inaasahan na nasa 75,000 hanggang 78,000 ang ikakalat na kapulisan sa iba’t-ibang lugar upang masiguro ang seguridad ng publiko.
