Inaresto ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang isang mag asawa sa Mabalacat, Pampanga dahil sa “online sexual abuse” sa kanilang 5-taong gulang na anak na babae.
Ang paghuli sa mag asawa ay isinagawa ng NBI- Anti-Human Trafficking Division (NBI-ATHRAD) matapos matanggap ang isang ulat mula sa Australian Center to Counter Child Exploitation ukol sa isang Australian citizen na si Warren Dixon na inaresto ng Australian police noong Nobyembre 8 nakaraang taon.
Nakuha kay Dixon ang ilang mga child sexual abuse materials (CSAMs) na nagpapakita ng mga Pilipinong menor de edad na kanyang inabuso ng sekswal gayundin ang iba pang mga indibidwal na sangkot sa pang aabuso.
Ang naarestong mag asawa ay tinukoy bilang pangunahing sangkot sa mga kriminal na gawain ni Dixon sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng mga CSAM.
Apat na cellphone at isang tablet ang narekober na mga ebidensya ng NBI mula sa mga suspek sa bisa ng inihaing Warrant to Search, Seize and Examine Computer Data (WSSECD) noong Marso 29.
“Charges for violations of RA (Republic Act) 11930 (Anti-Online Abuse and Exploitation of Children), RA 9208 as amended by RA 10364 (Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012), RA 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act), and RA 8353 (Anti-Rape Law of 1997) were filed against the arrested Subjects before the Office of the Prosecutor General, Department of Justice,” saad ng NBI.
