Upang maiwasan ang deactivation, muling nagbigay ng paalala sa publiko ang Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) na irehistro ang kanilang mga SIM card bago sumapit ang deadline ngayong buwan.
“The DICT emphasizes that there will be no extension for the deadline, and strict implementation will be in effect,” saad ng DICT sa isang pahayag noong Abril 9.
“Failure to register will result in the deactivation of SIM cards, rendering them unusable for voice calls, text messaging, and mobile data services,” babala nito.
