Muling tumanggap ang Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) ng ISO 9001:2015 certification sa ikatlong pagkakataon matapos nitong makumpleto ang 3-day audit na isinagawa ng DQS Certification Phil’s Inc. mula Disyembre 19- 22, 2022.
“PAGCOR effectively fulfilled the requirements for quality management system and risk-based thinking in its business operations. It also implemented and maintained a management system in accordance with the applied standards,” saad sa ulat ng DQS.
Ang reaccreditation ay tinanggap ni PAGCOR Chairman at CEO Alejandro H. Tengco kasama ang ilang board members sa ginanap na awarding ceremony sa New Coast Hotel Manila noong Miyerkules (Abril 12).
Ang recertification ng state-run gaming agency ay may bisa hanggang March 21, 2026 na napapailalim sa satisfactory surveillance audits.
“Ito ay pagpapatunay na nailalagay na sa ayos ang iba’t ibang sistema at uri ng pamamalakad sa isang organisasyon. Pagkakataon ito para magpasalamat sa bawat isang PAGCORian, kung hindi dahil sa inyo ay hindi natin makakamtam o matatanggap ang ISO certification natin,” wika ni Tengco.
Binigyang-diin din ni Tengco na gagawin niya ang lahat ng kanyang makakaya bilang pinuno ng ahensya upang matiyak na ang PAGCOR, kabilang ang lahat ng gaming venue nito ay magiging certified sa ISO 9001:2015 bago matapos ang kanyang termino.
“That is our goal and I commit as your Chairman and CEO that we will make sure that this will happen. Pagtrabahuhan natin, pagkaisahan at siguraduhin natin na makakamtan natin ang ISO certification para sa buong organisasyon,” ani ng PAGCOR Chief.
Ang ISO, o ang International Standardization Organization, ay isang independent, non-governmental at international na organisasyon na bumubuo ng mga pamantayan upang matiyak ang kalidad, kaligtasan, at kahusayan ng mga produkto, serbisyo, at sistema.
Sa kasalukuyan, nakuha ng PAGCOR ang ISO 9001:2015 recertification para sa mga Corporate Office nito sa Ermita, Malate, at Pasay.
Bukod dito, na-recertify din ang mga sangay ng Casino Filipino (CF) sa Tagaytay, Angeles, Citystate at New Coast.
Samantala, ang mga sangay naman ng CF sa Ilocos Norte at Cebu ay kabilang sa mga bagong sertipikadong PAGCOR sites.
