Patay din ang apat niyang kasamahan na sina Montawal Dialil Macmad, Aron Manalindo, Abedin Macaspi at Thins Baadan
Arestado naman ang dalawang miyembro na sina Gabriel Mandalaogan Guiamelil at Arnold Kalon Macaspe.
Ayon sa ulat Philippine National Police North Cotabato, nangyari ang sagupaan nang salakayin ng mga SAF troopers ang hideout ni Cabakungan sa Barangay Dungos bandang 5:35 ng umaga.
Hawak nila ang search warrant na inisyu ng Kidapawan City Regional Trial Court 15 para sa kasong illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.

Nakumpiska ang ilang matataas na kalibre ng baril kabilang ang isang M16 rifle, dalawang M1 Garand rifles, isang .50-caliber sniper rifle at isang M79 grenade launcher.
Nasamsam din ang dalawang hand grenade, isang .45-caliber pistol, mga bala at dalawang sachet ng iligal na droga.
