Ang walong teams ay maglalaban sa isang single-round robin eliminations kung saan ang nangungunang dalawang koponan ay makakakuha ng direktang tiket sa semifinals.
Ang third hanggang sixth-ranked squads ay magku-qualify naman sa quarterfinals kung saan ang third at fourth-seeded teams ay magkakaroon ng twice-to-beat advantage.
