Patay ang isang 9-anyos na bata sa Negros Occidental matapos itong mabulunan umano ng kanyang kinain na chocolate candy habang ito ay nasa eskwelahan nitong Biyernes (Abril 14).
Base sa ulat, nakatira sa Barangay Zone 4, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental ang grade 2 student na biktima.
Ayon kay Police Capt. Gina Fernandez, Deputy Chief ng Cadiz City Police, sinubukan humingi ng tulong ng biktima sa kanyang guro nang bumara ang isang bagay sa kanyang lalamunan subalit hindi ito makapagsalita.
Agad na itinakbo sa ospital ang estudyante subalit idineklara itong dead-on-arrival.
Hindi makumpirma ni Fernandez ang bagay na bumara sa lalamunan nang biktima dahil tumanggi ang kanyang pamilya na isailalim ang kanyang labi sa X-ray.
Gayunman, sinabi ni Fernandez na may ilang balot ng chocolate candy ang nakita sa loob ng bag ng biktima, dahilan para maghinala silang kendi ang bumara sa lalamunan ng biktima.
