Pumanaw na ang veteran sportscaster at Association of Boxing Alliances President (ABAP) na si Edgar “Ed” E. Picson dahil sa komplikasyon sa liver cancer ngayong araw, Wednesday, April 19.
Sa isang tweet ni Qunito Henson, inanunsyo nito ang pagpanaw ng kanyang matalik na kaibigan at isa sa mga nakasama nito sa loob ng maraming taon bilang bahagi ng broadcast team ng Philippine Baketball Association (PBA).
Si Picson ay nagsilbi bilang ABAP secretary-general sa loob ng ilang taon. Sa ilalim din ng pamumuno ni Picson nang makakuha ang bansa ng dalawang silver at isang bronze sa Tokyo Olympics boxing na nanggaling kina Nesthy Petecio, Carlo Paalam, at Eumir Marcial.
