Binigyang pugay ng Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) ang topnotcher ng 2022 Philippine Bar Examination gayundin ang iba pang mga empleyado ng state-run gaming firm na pumasa sa naturang pagsusulit na ito.
Kasama ang mga miyembro ng Board of Directors, pinangunahan ni PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco ang pagbibigay ng parangal kay bar topnotcher Czar Matthew Gerard Dayday sa isang Executive Committee Meeting noong Abril 19, 2023 sa PAGCOR Executive Office sa Manila.
Si Dayday ay anak ng mag asawang empleyado ng PAGCOR na sina Emily at Cesar Dayday na parehong nagtatrabaho bilang dealers sa Casino Filipino.
Siya ay pinarangalan ng PAGCOR ng Certificate of Distinction at cash gift para sa kanyang pambihirang tagumpay.
Ayon kay Tengco, makakatanggap din si Dayday ng iba pang mga gantimpala, kabilang ang laptop na kanyang nais, mula kay Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. at First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos.
