Muling maglalaro sa men’s carom event sa 32nd Southeast Asian Games ang binansagang ‘the magician’ na si Efren ‘Bata’ Reyes sa susunod na buwan na gaganapin sa Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Ayon sa president ng Billiard Sports Confederation of the Philippines Robert Mananquil, muling makakasama ni Reyes si Francisco Dela Cruz sa men’s carom event.
Nasungkit nina Reyes at Dela Cruz ang bronze medal noong nakaraang taon sa 31st SEA Games sa Vietnam na pumangatlo sa likod ng gold medalist na si Nguyen Tran Thanh Tu at silver medalist na si Pham Quoc Tuan, na parehong mula sa host country.
Ang kanilang bronze medal finish ay nakatulong sa Pilipinas na maging winningest country pagdating sa billiards noong nakaraang SEA games na nakolekta ng 4 na gold, 4 na silver, at 2 bronze.
