Mahigit dalawang milyong pisong halaga ng shabu ang nasabat ng mga awtoridad sa isang 20-anyos na lalaki sa Valenzuela nitong Martes (Abril 25).
Kinilala ng Valenzuela City Police ang suspek na si Erold Templado ng Barangay 171,Caloocan City. Si Templado ay itinuturing na isang high-value individual dahil sa iligal na droga.
Sa pakikipagtulungan ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), ikinasa ng VCPS Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) ang isang buy-bust operation kay Templado sa Cabatuhan Street, Barangay Gen T. De leon, Valenzuela City bandang alas siyete ng umaga.
Nakumpiska ng mga awtoridad ang apat na sachet ng hinihinalang Methamphetamine Hydrochloride o shabu na nagkakahalaga ng P2,040,000, blue belt bag, cellphone, motorsiklo at buy-bust money na ginamit sa operasyon.
Nasa kustodiya na ng pulisya ang suspek kung saan mahaharap ito sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2022.
