Base sa mga comments ng iba’t ibang social media pages, marami ang tila dismayado pa din kahit na ang layunin ng desisyon ay bigyan ng dagdag panahon ang mga walang kakayahan na mag-register.
“Extend ng 90 days last day na lang tayo pa-register. Typical pinoy tayo tapos magreklamo tayo,” ang tila sarcastic na comment ni Wendy Lipardo Napocao sa Cavite Connect Facebook Page.
“Hindi talaga marunong manindigan mga tagapanguna sa Batas na yan. Extended pa din yayabang pa na nagsabi sa news na di nila i-eextend kesyo anim na Buwan yung bingay na panhon tapos ngayon extended,” ang matapang na comment ni Flory May Sarceda.
“Sa Saudi, nung natapos yung registration, di na active mobile number ko, napilitan mga tao na magparegister, isa na ako doon. Sana ganon din Pinas. Di marunong mag disiplina ang gobyerno ng Pinas,” ayon naman kay Jay Cerna.
April 26, 2023 ang deadline na itinakda ng batas para sa huling araw ng pagreregister ng SIM card owners sa Pilipinas.
Ngunit pinalawig pa ito dagdag 90 days dahil karamihan sa mga dahilan ay kakulangan ng valid IDs.
Hanggang kahapon ay halos kalahati pa lamang ng tinatayang 128 million subscribers ang nakapag-register ng kanilang SIM cards.
