Hindi maglalaro sa Indonesia ngayong SEA Games sina naturalized player Marques Bolden at locals Derrick Michael Xzavierro na isang Indon-American, at Abraham Grahita.
Bida ang tatlo sa 85-81 win ng Indonesia laban sa Gilas Pilipinas para kunin ang gold SA 2021 SEA Games.
Sa panalo laban sa Gilas, nagtala ang 6-10 na si Xzavierro ng 14 points at seven rebounds. 18 points ang ambag ni Bolden habang 17 points si Grahita.
Si Xzavierro ay nagrerekober pa sa isang lung surgery habang may shoulder injury naman si Bolden. Si Grahita naman ay hindi makawala sa kaniyang playing contract sa Japan B. League.
Papalitan sila ng tatlong naturalized players na sina Lester Prosper, Anthony Beane at Dame Diagne.
Ang 6-10 na si Prosper ay nag-average ng 28.7 points at 15.6 rebounds sa 10 games para sa Terrafirma Dyip noong 2022 Commissioner’s Cup.
Si Beane ay isang 6-foot-2 American guard na import ng Indonesian Patriots sa Indonesian Basketball League.
Si Diagne naman ay isang 17-year-old 6-4 forward na naglalaro din sa Indonesia at may average na 16.5 points at 10.9 rebounds kada laro.
Sa SEA Games, walang limit ang pgpasok ng naturalized players basta may passport ang mga ito ng bansang kanilang lalaruan.
Ang SEA Games ay magaganap May 5-17 sa Cambodia.
