Posibleng maging isang super typhoon ang tropical cyclone na namataan ng PAGASA.
Sa latest bulletin ng state weather bureau, ang nasabing bagyo ay tinatayang nasa 2,300 East ng Visayas. Taglay nito ang lakas ng hangin na 155 kph malapit sa gitna at pagbugso na umaabot ng 185 kph.
Ayon kay Weather forecaster Rhea Torres, posibleng hindi mag-landfall sa anumang parte ng Pilipinas ang bagyo na may international name na “Mawar”.
“Ngunit dahil sa kalakasan po nito ay ma-e-enhance po nito ang hanging habagat kaya asahan po natin may mga pag-ulan tayong mararanasan or mataas po yung tsansang may pag-ulan tayo lalong -lalo na sa western section ng Visayas and Mindanao area,” ani Torres.Sa pagtantiya ng PAGASA, posibleng sa Biyernes o Sabado papasok ang bagyo na papangalanan naman na “Betty” oras na pumasok ito sa Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
