Ayon kay House Secretary General Reginald Velasco, may go signal na sa Commission on Elections (Comelec) ang ginawang panunumpa kahit na hinihintay pa nila motion for reconsideration ng disqualification case na isinampa laban kay Tulfo.
Kamakailan ay ibinasura ng Comelec Second Division ang petisyon na i-disqualify si Tulfo bilang nominee ng Anti-Crime and Terrorism Community Involvement and Support (ACT-CIS) Party List.
Ayon sa resolusyon ng Comelec, ang anumang petisyon laban sa isang party list candidate ay dapat maihain bago ang proklamasyon nito.
Naiproklamang panalo ang ACT-CIS noong May 26, 2022. Ang petisyon naman laban kay Tulfo ay inihain noong March 1, 2023 ng isang abogado na si Atty. Moises Tolentino.
