Sisilipin ng Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) ang application ng distribution utilities (DUs) para sa power cost adjustments sa loob ng dalawang hanggang tatlong buwan.
Ayon kay ERC CEO at chairperson Monalisa Dimalanta, may mga distributors na din ang nagsabi na handa silang mag-refund.
“Meron na ngang at least apat na distributor na ang application nila is actually para makapag-refund din sila. So adjustments could be up or down,” ayon kay Dimalanta.
Sa nasabing hearing ay iimbitahan ang publiko para dumalo at sumali sa mga pagdinig.
“Nagse-set po tayo ng panahon kung kailan po siya ipapataw. So usually po, mga two to three months. Maghe-hearing pa po kasi ito,” ayon kay Dimalanta.
Matapos ang hearing ay idedetermina kung kalian ipapataw ang cost adjustments at kung gaano katagal ito sisingilin.
Dagdag pa ni Dimalanta, kung malaki ang sisingilin, gagawin itong spread out sa iba’t ibang billing periods. Kung refund naman, isang bagsakan lang ang kanilang ipatutupad.48 distribution utilities ang nag-apply nang automatic cost adjustment at true-up mechanisms para sa period ng 2020 at 2022.
