Si Professor Maximo Mejia ay nakatakdang umupo bilang professor ng WMU ngayong June 29.
Si Mejia ay dating umupo bilang Administrator ng Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) noong 2013 at 2016 at kasalukuyang Director of Ph.D Programme, Head Head of the Maritime Law at Policy Specialization at Nippon Foundation Professor.
Kabilang sa prioridad ni Mejia ay ang ipatupad ang gender parity pareho ng kaniyang ginawa sa MARINA.
“If you look at senior management in MARINA during my time, women were 47 percent almost and I will continue that… New faculty should drive strongly for female recruitment,” ani Mejia.
