Tuloy pa ang pagbuti ng inflation rate sa Pilipinas, ayon sa Philippine Statistics Bureau araw ng Miyerkules (July 5).
Naiulat ng state statistics bureau na umabot na ng 5.4 percent ang inflation sa bansa noong buwan ng Hunyo, di hamak na mas maganda kumpara sa 6.1 percent inflation rate noong Mayo.
Ito naman ay malapit sa 5.3 to 6.1 percent forecast ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
Sa kabila nito, hindi naman umabot ang nasabing inflation rate sa 2 to 4 percent na target range ng sconomic managers ng bansa.Noong January ay umabot sa 8.7 percent ang inflation rate sa bansa, ang pinakamataas na rate sa loob ng 14 na taon.
