Sa kanilang 11 a.m. bulletin ngayong Martes (July 25), sinabi ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) na aabot ang hangin ni Egay sa lakas na 118 hanggang 184 kilometers per hour sa loob ng 12 hours.
Kabilang naman sa nasa ilalim ng Signal No. 3 ay ang Babuyan Islands, the northern at eastern portions ng mainland Cagayan (Gonzaga, Peñablanca, Gattaran, Lal-Lo, Alcala, Santa Teresita, Buguey, Aparri, Camalaniugan, Ballesteros, Allacapan, Abulug, Claveria, Pamplona, Sanchez-Mira, Santa Praxedes, Lasam, Baggao, Amulung, Iguig), ang northeastern portion ng Isabela (Divilacan, Maconacon, Palanan), at northern portion ng Apayao (Calanasan, Luna, Santa Marcela, Flora, Pudtol).
Signal No. 2 ang mga sumusunod: Batanes, ang natitirang bahagi ng mainland Cagayan, natitirang bahagi ng Isabela, Quirino, northern portion ng Nueva Vizcaya (Kasibu, Quezon, Diadi, Bagabag, Ambaguio, Villaverde, Solano, Bayombong), natitirang bahagi ng Apayao, Kalinga, Abra, Mountain Province, Ifugao, northern portion ng Benguet (Bakun, Mankayan, Buguias, Kabayan, Kibungan), Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, northern at central portion ng Aurora (Dilasag, Casiguran, Dinalungan, Dipaculao).
Samantala Signal No. 1 naman ang La Union, Pangasinan, natitirang bahagi ng Benguet, natitirang bahagi ng Nueva Vizcaya, natitirang bahagi ng Aurora, Zambales, Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Metro Manila, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Quezon, Marinduque, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, Burias Island, at Ticao Island.Huling namataan si Egay sa layong 270 km. east ng Tuguegarao City, Cagayantaglay ang hangin na 185 kph malapit sa gitna at bugso na aabot sa 230 kph.
