A senior citizen from Bicol, accompanied by her daughter, claimed her share of the ₱25,351,115 Lotto 6/42 jackpot on January 10, 2025, at the PCSO Main Office, Mandaluyong City.
The winning numbers, drawn on December 31, 2024, were 27- 26- 09- 41-19 and 20. The jackpot was split with another winner who purchased their ticket in Lucena City.
The winner’s success was attributed to a System 9 betting strategy and a decade-long commitment to playing family birthdate numbers. She plans to invest her winnings in a new business.
Claiming the jackpot requires the winner to present their original, signed ticket and two valid government-issued IDs. As per the TRAIN Law, a 20% tax is deducted from prizes exceeding ₱10,000. Winners have one year from the draw date to claim their prizes. Unclaimed winnings will be forfeited and added to the PCSO Charity Fund, supporting the organization’s various charitable programs.
Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 9:00 PM and is broadcast live on PTV-4 and the PCSO Games Online Hub Facebook page.
