The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) welcomed the new year with a generous donation of wheelchairs to the Commission on Elections-CAM SUR, Catanduanes on Monday, January 6, 2025, at the PCSO Conservatory Building in Mandaluyong City.
PCSO Charity Assistance Department Manager Dr. Orlando M. Malaca handed out 26 units of wheelchairs to Ralph U. Santos, staff and representative of COMELEC-CAMSUR Catanduanes. Said wheelchairs will be distributed to local senior citizens and other persons with disabilities.
The PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility Program enables the Agency to provide qualified LGUs and other organizations with medical assistive devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, and canes.
This initiative aligns with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos’ directive to deliver timely aid to Filipinos.
