“Darating Ako! P1-Milyon mo, Sasampal ko Sa Mukha mo!”
(Makapangyarihang Pamilya daw sa Iloilo)

BITAG Pambansang Sumbungan handled a sexual harassment case involving a 16-year-old minor in the province of Iloilo. To protect her real identity, BITAG named the victim, “Lea”, a Grade 7 student who decided to take a summer job as a housemaid in a supposedly-prominent family in Jaro, Iloilo.

Episode 1 – “Darating Ako! P1-Milyon mo, Sasampal ko Sa Mukha mo!”
(Makapangyarihang Pamilya daw sa Iloilo)

“Lea”, a Grade 7 student from the province of Iloilo seeked BITAG’s help as she was “sexually abused by her employer’s father, Rizal Benia. Lea’s family wants justice but is faced by threats from the Benia family.

Episode 2 – “Darating Ako! P1-Milyon mo, Sasampal ko Sa Mukha mo!” (Nakakaawang Kuwento ng Biktima)

Lea, with the guidance of her mother, revealed in detail how she was sexually harassed and molested by Rizal Benia last July 15, 2021. Meanwhile, conflicts arise as Lea reveals that she was threatened by Jaro Police Station after filing a case against Rizal Benia.

Episode 3 – “Darating Ako! P1-Milyon mo, Sasampal ko Sa Mukha mo!” (Mga Pulis, HULOG SA BITAG!)
Police officers from Jaro Police Station answer to Ben Tulfo after the family of the victim said that they were threatened by the police officers and discouraged not to pursue a criminal case against Rizal Benia. In the latest development, two police officers from the General Investigation Division of Jaro Police Station allegedly threatened Lea that she will be jailed for stealing money from the Benia family.

“Darating Ako! P1-Milyon mo, Sasampal ko Sa Mukha mo!” (PNP-IAS, NANGHIMASOK NA)
Fulfilling its promise, BITAG deepens its investigation into Lea’s case. Mr. Ben Tulfo reiterates that minors like Lea are protected by the law and the government. Meanwhile, the Provincial Internal Affairs Office of the Philippine National Police in Isabela will now continue to investigate alleged irregularities of Jaro Police Station in handling Lea’s case.

Episode 5 – “Darating Ako! P1-Milyon mo, Sasampal ko Sa Mukha mo!” (PAMILYA NG SUSPEK, NAKIKIPAGSUBUKAN)
As BITAG continues its advocacy to protect Lea’s rights as an abused minor, a new member of the Benia family questions the ‘monetary assistance’ BITAG willingly offers to Lea. Emmanuel Benia, son of Rizal Benia, allegedly spreads malicious rumors against the victim’s family. During the program, BITAG contacted Emmanuel to get his explanation but Benia did not answer.

Episode 6 – “Darating Ako! P1-Milyon mo, Sasampal ko Sa Mukha mo!” (TATAY NG BIKTIMA, PINAKULONG!)

In an unexpected twist, Renan Gabayeron, Lea’s father, was arrested by Concepcion Police Station after serving warrants of arrest for 6 counts of Grave Threat. Mr. Ben tulfo reiterated on his program that the mistake of the parent is not the mistake of the child.

Episode 7 – “Darating Ako! P1-Milyon mo, Sasampal ko Sa Mukha mo!” (BITAG LIVE FULL EPISODE – 081921)

From BITAG’s public service program, BITAG Pambansang Sumbungan, Mr. Ben Tulfo brings Lea’s celebrated case to his live broadcast program, BITAG Live. BITAG finds answers to the questionable release of six warrants of arrest against Renan Gabayeron.  BITAG legal Council together with the Department of Justice and Supreme Court puts this issue into the light.

Episode 8 – “Darating Ako! P1-Milyon mo, Sasampal ko Sa Mukha mo!” (ABOGADO NAKIPAGMATIGASAN)

With the help of BITAG, the six warrants of arrest against Renan were immediately recalled by Judge Eugene Cabardo. The Judge himself offered his apologies to Renan’s family. Meanwhile, Mr. Ben Tulfo continues his advocacy and tries to interview the legal counsel of Richel Benia.

Episode 9 – “Darating Ako! P1-Milyon mo, Sasampal ko Sa Mukha mo!” (BIKTIMA, PINAPALAYAS SA BARANGAY)

More conflicts arise as the Benia family exhausts all desperate efforts as they initiate a petition to expel Lea’s family from their residence. The Regional Public Attorney’s Office in Iloilo, on the other hand said that expelling someone from his residence is only possible  by a lawful order of the court.

Episode 10 – “Darating Ako! P1-Milyon mo, Sasampal ko Sa Mukha mo!” (BRGY, KAPITAN, TINAGUAN SI BITAG)

Lea’s sexaual harrasment case has developed into a massive issue in Iloilo. In this episode, BITAG revealed that the barangay captain who allowed the petition to expel Lea’s family from their residence might face administrative charges. DILG Undersecretary Martin Diño was not pleased and will help BITAG with Lea’s case.

BITAG faced a strong condemnation from the Integrated Bar of the Philippines-Iloilo Chapter after interviewing 
BITAG with its highest regard for the Constitution and laws

Episode 12 – “Darating Ako! P1-Milyon mo, Sasampal ko Sa Mukha mo!” (KASO LABAN SA SUSPEK, UMUUSAD NA)

Through the assistance of the BTAG, the family filed two criminal cases, Acts of Lasciviousness in relation to Violation of R.A 7610 and R.A 7610 otherwise known as “Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act” against Rizal Benia and other members of his family.

Episode 13 – “Darating Ako! P1-Milyon mo, Sasampal ko Sa Mukha mo!” (NAGWALA, NAG-AMOK! GALIT SA BITAG)

The supposedly influential family of Benia continue their attempt to bully Lea’s family. Under the influence of alcohol, Renan Gabayeron has been reported to cause outbursts in their neighbourhood, pushing a fight with Lea’s father.
