Contrary to the news report released by ABS-CBN dated March 25, the 24- year old security guard Jomar Pajares faced the lawyers from Esguerra and Blanco Law Offices which will assist him to file charges against Kurt Matthew Teves.
Pajares took a break after the trauma that he suffered and feared for his safety after he was mauled, made to kneel by the son of Congressman Arnie Teves and kicked while pleading for mercy on March 16.
“Hindi ako nagtatago! Nagpahinga lang ako at sinigurado ko na ligtas ang asawa at pamilya ko,” Pajares said.
Previously, Atty. Delfin Supapo, the legal counsel for the Federation of Homeowners Association made a statement that they cannot pursue filing the case against Teves because Pajares chose to hide.
However, Pajares clarifies that there is no such legal binding contract between him and Atty. Supapo.
The legal team of Pajares are group of topnotch lawyers from Esguerra and Blanco Law Offices.
Pajares is still under the protective custody of BITAG.
