The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) recently gave Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOAs) to 32 farmers in Dupax del Sur town.
Engineer Rustico Turingan said the farmer -beneficiaries received the CLOAs covering 42.6357 hectares in barangay Canabay.
“These CLOAs should be protected and kept and must not be sold within 10 years. Their land should be maintained and tilled well as a source of their livelihood for their family needs,” he said.
Turingan said the CLOAs were given through the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) of the national government.
