Inilipat na sa regular na selda ang actor-comedian na si Ferdinand “Vhong” Navarro na sinampahan ng kasong rape at acts of lasciviousness ng modelong si Deniece Cornejo noong 2014.
Ayon sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), hapon na ngayong araw (Nov. 21) nang matapos ang turnover kay Navarro sa Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) sa Taguig City.
Natanggap ng NBI ang commit order para ilipat si Navarro sa Taguig City Jail sa Camp Bagong Diwa noong Nov. 12 sa utos ng Regional Trial Court Branch 69.
Kinumpirma ng NBI na bago ipasok sa selda ang actor-comedian, dumaan ito sa regular na medical examination katulad ng RT-PCR test na kasama sa protocol ng BJMP.
Si Navarro ay sumuko sa NBI noong Setyembre 19 matapos magpalabas ng arrest order ang Taguig City Regional Trial Court (RTC) sa kasong rape.
Naglagak ito ng piyansa sa Taguig City metropolitan trial court (MTC) sa kasong acts of lasciviousness, subalit hindi ito pinayagang makalaya dahil may nakabinbin pang kasong rape sa korte.
Ang kaso ni Navarro ay nag-ugat sa isinampang kaso noong 2014 ng modelong si Deniece Millinete Cornejo.
