Sa ulat ng Albay Police Provincial Office, habang nagse-serve ng Warrant of Arrest ang mga awtoridad para sa akusado na si Jonathan Rejale, agad silang sinalubong ng mga putok ng baril ng mga pinaghihinalaang armadong lalaki. Dito na napilitang gumanti ang putok ang mga operatiba.
Mayroon din umano naghagis ng granada, na sa kabutihang palad hindi ito sumabog.
Matapos ang bakbakan, dalawang miyembro umano ng gang ang napatay sa aksyon. Kasalukuyang inaalam pa ang kanilang pagkakilanlan. Samantalang nakatakas naman ang akusado na si Rejale at ang isa pa nitong ka-grupo na kinilalang si Jayson Sayson.
Ang Concepcion Criminal Gang ay pinangungunahan ni Gilbert Saysay Concepcion. Sila ang responsible sa iba’t ibang krimen tulad ng pagpatay, pagnanakaw, pangingikil, gun for hire, gunrunning, at kabilang din umano sa mga armed group ng mga lokal pulitiko.
