Women leaders are stronger than men, because women experienced more “pain” than men, according to Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte.
The official was asked by Pastor Apollo Quiboloy during an interview with the SMNI about the advantages of being a woman leader.
Duterte discussed her belief that women are made stronger by their experiences in life, saying “A woman knows more pain than a man.”
“Women’s strength comes from the heartaches and heartbreaks caused by men, and from the physical pain of giving birth to their children,” she noted.
The Vice President even joked that women’s tears brought on by the men in their lives “caused” climate change.
And it is not just childbirth that gives women so much physical pain because Duterte said the nine months of pregnancy are much the same.
“I think all women whether may anak sila or wala, they are very strong in heart because of the pain that they go through,” Duterte uttered.
