Isang hindi inaasahang tawag mula sa US Homeland Security ang natanggap ng San Mateo County Gang Task Force (GTF).
Sa staging area, kasama ng BITAG ang mahigit 20 top cops mula sa iba’t ibang police department sa ilalim ng San Mateo County Gang Task Force (GTF).
Sa isang eklusibong panayam kay Mr. Ben Tulfo, ibinahagi niya kung paano nasaksihan ng BITAG Ride Along Team ang kakaibang police operation.
“That was not part of the scheduled activity; BITAG was there at the right time and right place. A call was made informing GTF na may isang ‘illegal alien’ na nakalusot sa airport”
Kasama ang Team Ride Along ng BITAG, agad rumesponde ang GTF sa isang address na ibinigay ng Homeland Security para arestuhin ang target.
Sa loob ng sasakyan ay nagpatuloy ang “intelligence gathering” ng mga kapulisan.
Ang target — isang lalaking Middle Eastern na ilegal na nakapasok at nakalusot sa Los Angeles Airport at dumiretso sa isang bahay sa La Cuesta, San Francisco.
Nang makarating sa target location, naidokumento ng BITAG ang formation na ginawa ng GTF sa paligid ng bahay.

Nang katukin ng mga operatiba ang bahay ng target, agad naman itong lumabas.
Sa pangunguna ni Captain Doug Davis at Detective April Huerta ay positibong nakuha ng GTF ang target.
Ipinagpatuloy ng GTF ang field investigation kung saan isa-isa nilang binusisi ang mga impormasyong ibinigay ng suspek.
Ayon sa investigative journalist na si Ben Tulfo isang pribilehiyo para sa BITAG na masaksihan ang ganitong klaseng police operation.
