Kalunos-lunos ang sinapit ng isang 74-years old na lola sa Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental dahil matapos pagnakawan, binugbog pa ito ng salarin at inuntog ang mukha sa semento.
Sa imbestigasyon ng Oroquieta Police Station, hinoldap ang biktimang si Nellie Mendoza, 74, ng motor-cab driver na si Arce Fernandez Jr., 30.
Nagpanggap umanong nasiraan ng motor ang suspek, pero nang makalapit ang matanda sa driver ay agad hinablot ang dala nitong sling bag na may lamang pera at mga gamit.
Ayon kay PSSg. Sunny Jun Tagaloguin, imbestigador ng kaso, pumiglas daw ang matanda ng hablutin ang kanyang bag pero binuweltahan ito ng suspek at pinagsusuntok siya sa sikmura at inuntog pa ang mukha sa semento.
Nagsagawa ng follow up operation ang Oroquieta Police at agad nadakip ang suspek.
Katwiran ng suspek, nagipit lamang umano siya kaya nagawa ang pangho-holdap sa matanda.
Kakasuhan si Fernandez ng robbery with frustrated homicide, habang ang biktima naman ay dinala sa pinakamalapit na ospital.
